Get data
The majority of datasets in USDAS are freely available for use by students and researchers from academic institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Access to data is controlled, depending on the level of sensitivity of the data and the specific conditions determined by the depositor. This service is free to users within the academic world.
USDAS has three levels of data access:
- Data and documents that can be accessed by everybody through our dissemination portal;
- Data and documents that are only available for scientific analysis carried out in academic research and teaching, and may be accessed without requiring permission from the data depositor, i.e. free access (download) via ordering system by e-mail or online. However, registration is necessary; and
- Data and documents that are accessible only with written approval from the depositor. The USDAS will request written permission from the depositor and will only permit access on receipt of this. By default, the user must sign an end-user license in order to gain access to the material. It specifies the conditions under which a user is granted access to data and how they may use those data (citation in scientific fashion and use following typical scientific ethical norms of conduct).
